Mental health for you and
your teams

ENCORE PRESENTATION

Have you been feeling down, stressed, overwhelmed or just "over it?"
For starters, you aren’t alone.
This is a trying time for all of humanity, and we want to help. Join us for this encore presentation of our virtual Address the Stress: Mental Health for You and Your Teams event on December 8 at 2:00 p.m. AGCW safety director Mandi Kime will fill the hour with lots of helpful tools and information, mixed with empathy for your unique situation.
Attendees will be given resources and tools to implement into their existing worker-safety & health programs, as well as some healthy coping and resilience skills for themselves. This meeting will again be held virtually, via the Microsoft Teams platform.
AGC will also soon release a recorded condensed version of it to be released to members for use with their crews, mainly focused on coping and resilience skills.
Originally held on Nov. 2, the Address the Stress live session is being presented again by popular demand. Click here to join us virtually -- free to AGC members.
Federal Facilities Coordination Committee meeting: Roadmap to Cybersecurity, Dec. 3
Join us for the Q4 Federal Facilities Coordination Committee meeting focused on the latest developments in new and upcoming Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program requirements for Department of Defense contractors.
Attendees will hear from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, Naval Facilities Command, the U.S. Coast Guard and Washington PTAC about current requirements. AGC of America will also overview DOD’s recent overhaul of the requirements outlined in CMMC 2.0. There will be ample room on the agenda for contractor feedback, so bring your questions and comments.

ADVOCACY
AGC's BUILD PAC urges support to recall Sawant
The AGC's BUILD PAC endorses the Recall Sawant effort aimed at recalling Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant for several legal violations, abuses of public office and destructive public policy agendas.
With the endorsement, BUILD PAC contributed to two efforts at the maximum contribution level of $1,000 per campaign. Contribution limits are very low for recall elections, so we are urging AGC members to also consider sending support. You can assist in door-to-door efforts by contributing to the Recall Sawant campaign, and get-out-the-vote efforts undertaken by A Better Seattle.
The vote on recalling Councilmember Kshama Sawant is on December 7, and ballots dropped in District 3 today. Use the links below to donate -- there is no time to waste.

Supporting public safety at the AGC building
As a building and marina owner in downtown Seattle, the AGC building is actively engaged in advocating for properly funding public safety, including Seattle's Harbor Patrol. City Hall released a budget several days ago and it's clear that more work needs to be done to ensure that the Harbor Patrol is adequately staffed and supported.
If you would like to help advocate for proper funding of public safety at the AGC building, we have partnered with our friends at the Northwest Marine Trade Association to provide an action alert. This VoterVoice action alert is a powerful tool, but it only works if we spend the thirty seconds to fill out the field of where we live in Seattle and then click submit. Thank you in advance for your support!
More info on budgets cuts to Harbor Patrol and the action alert that should be submitted to the Seattle City Council can be found here.
